As long as I can remember my mum was practicing Yoga and I often watched her as a child. In 2001, my family and I went on a holiday to the magical island of Koh Phangan, Thailand. I was 16 years old at the time. My mum charmed me to come with her to my very first Yoga class. It took place in the most beautiful, wooden Yoga shala in midst of a lush jungle with the surround sound of nature. I fell in love immediately: with Yoga and with Koh Phangan! I remember feeling reborn after my first Yoga class. It was a feeling of centeredness, calmness and clarity that I never experienced before. On that same trip I simultaneously met a Yogi on the beach who introduced me to the "Om”. This whole journey was very transformational for me. As soon as I got back to Switzerland, I looked for a yoga studio and bought a book about Sanskrit. And the journey of being a disciple began.

Making the change

For the next 13 years, I practiced yoga on and off, always missing it, when the rush of life convinced me that I didn't have time. At the age of 28, after my studies of Interior architecture and Exhibition Design, I found myself sitting in the office and thinking,“Is this my life now? Is this all there is?” I felt a call to deeply inquire and I started to listen to my adventurous heart that was longing to follow my passion of traveling, yoga, dancing and singing. That calling was so intense, there was no way I could have ignored it, I would have suppressed my life-force. it was too painful not to change. So, I decided to quit my job and to take one year dedicated to be a disciple of my heart and only doing the things I really love in life

Gratitude

This was the best decision I could have ever taken. I began to deeply listen and following my hearts calling. It brought me onto this blooming journey that my life is right now and back to this magical island of Koh Phangan, where everything started! I trained with Jivani Yoga school, started teaching at Orion Healing centre, the Sanctuary and Pure flow (before: Blooming Lotus). I now spent 7-10 months a year teaching yoga, running yoga-retreats, offering Reiki sessions, and Cacao Dance Ceremonies.  As for the rest of the Year, I travel to India, Bali, Ibiza and like to learn and expand my personal practice further.

Yoga completely changed my life. The practice transformed me in the best way and gave me more than I could have ever dreamt of. I see the positive change in my outer reality as a manifestation of the change that happens within. I am overflowing with gratitude and joy everyday.

I once read,“If your dreams are not scaring you, they are not big enough.” My way of living requires a constant flow of courage from my side, it pushes me continuously out of my comfort zone – and this is exactly where the magic happens!

The gift of my life right now is living in the most beautiful places of the world, connected to nature, sharing from my heart what I truly love (yoga, meditation, dancing and Reiki). Being present in each moment and listening deeply to myself and to one another, our heart and our Intuition.

I am endlessly grateful everyday for the life that I’m living and honoured to be able to share my insights with people!
